This Privacy Policy explains how the Never Miss mobile application (the "App", package xyz.pufflab.nevermiss), published by PuffLab, handles your information. Never Miss is a reminder app: you create reminders with a due date and optional repeats, and the App notifies you before and when each one is due.
In short
Everything you enter stays on your device. The App has no accounts, no internet access, and no ads, analytics, or tracking. We do not collect, receive, or share any of your data.
Information You Enter
Never Miss only stores what you type into it, so that it can show and schedule your reminders:
- Reminder details — title, notes, category, type, due date and time, how it repeats, alert times, priority, and whether it is pinned or archived.
- Optional amount — a money amount and currency you can add, for example to a bill reminder. This is plain text for your own reference. The App does not process payments of any kind.
- History — when reminders were completed or snoozed, and their past occurrences.
- Settings — your custom categories and app preferences.
The App has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, camera, or microphone.
Where Your Data Is Stored
- On your device only. Everything is kept in a local database inside the App's private storage, which other apps cannot read.
- No internet access. The released App does not request the internet permission, so it cannot send your data anywhere.
- No outside services. There are no ads, analytics, crash reporting, tracking, or cloud sync, and no third-party code that collects data.
Permissions
On Android, the App asks for the following permissions:

You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, though the App will then be unable to alert you.
When Data Can Leave the App
Your data only leaves the App when you take one of these actions yourself:
- Export. You can save a backup file to a location you choose. That file contains all of your reminder data. Once saved, it is under your control, not the App's — keep it somewhere you trust.
- Import. You can pick a backup file to restore. The App reads only the file you select.
- Notifications. Reminder titles may appear on your lock screen, depending on your phone's notification settings.
- Device backup. If Android's automatic backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may copy the App's data to your Google account as part of your device backup. This is handled by Google under its Privacy Policy, not by us, and we cannot access it. You can manage it in your device's backup settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is kept on your device until you delete it. You can:
- Delete individual reminders.
- Erase everything with Settings → Clear all data.
- Uninstall the App, which removes its local database.
Because nothing is stored on any server, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Backup files you exported, and any Android device backup, need to be removed separately.
Payments
The App does not process payments. Any amount you add to a reminder is only a note for yourself.
Children's Privacy
Never Miss has no features aimed at children and collects no personal data from anyone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
